Oooooo. That's so nasty. I hate migraines, but not as much as DH hates for me to have them.

Turkeys...I wonder if DH would go for that. Can they run the yard or do they need a pen?

The turkeys have been there for awhile--getting bigger and bigger as no one has been purchasing; seems like every week they are about a third larger than the previous week. Maybe Sharon needs to move them to the goose pen as there was only one goose left in it last week, and it seemed really lonely (still bit me).

Was this Feed Barn Mesa? or are any of you unloading?

a couple of those turkeys at the feed barn look like they'd be perfect for Thanksgiving... I'm thinking about it... but I think my wife would have a tizzy fit.

looks like the entire eastern half of the state is getting some big thunderstorms. I think we all might get a little before the day is over.

It's 112 in the back yard right now... we broke the record set in 2007 when we hit 111.

Anybody have any very pretty rooster feathers? Emmy want to make hair pretties and earrings for her 6th grade business project.

Still, MikeyD, that can't have been pleasant.

It was disconcerting to say the least. The first time I didn't even have my wallet with me. Luckily I kept my School ID in my classroom because the police were not happy about no ID on me. I now have the # to the district security and call them immediately if there is an issue. Still doesn't help if the police show up first.

Nah, you are 25! But seriously I am sooo sorry for you! I can take a lot of pain anywhere on the body but on the head. Headaches are the worst form of torture on the planet. (And dentist induced are the second worst, sorry Mahonri

Not for me. Kidney stones were the worst! Even compared to (my) puking migraines, burns & bone surgery.

Whew! Get busy for a bit and come back to pages and pages of posts to catch up on! Thank you all for your advice, input, and welcomes. I just heard from the mortgage guy today and good news, our credit is good enough for a loan now. Hooray~ I can't find any CC&R's online for the HOAs so that means I gotta make some phonecalls... I hate the phone but what can y'do? For chickens I'll do whatever I have to. For now I have a lot of posts to go back and read. And as fast as this thread moves, by the time I'm caught up I'll still have catching up to do. XD
