So my husband surprised me today. He said, "Honey, I think we need more chickens". He made breakfast this morning, and used 15 eggs. There wasn't a scrap left. My kids eat a lot.
MEg, what was that kind of tree you mentioned? The one that grew a foot in the last month?

Can someone make a BYC page (with lots of official looking references) on ducks, and mention that they LOVE to eat aphids and mosquitoes? I really want ducks and that might be the only way to convince my husband (who isn't as nice as Arizonachicken's husband).

Meg has her original 4 left. We're going to do the coop relocation next weekend in the AM when it is only 105 out.
I was thinking that if we cut one of the 4 x 8 roof panels in half & reattached the short end, it would work for you just fine.
Prolly still going to need to figure our an entrance plan though.

My 3 year old is at 90% on the a-hole meter today. I think it is the heat. When he was supposed to be napping he destroyed his baby-book (the one I had spent hours and hours on), then he colored the carpet blue, thew a huge tantrum when I told him we had played enough Angry Birds, and when I asked if he wanted to visit grandma (who has air-conditioning!) he punched me.
I have a Doberman sized dog crate you can borrow.
