Arizona Chickens

Question - The Stock Shop. What exactly do they have there, in terms of animals? I know chickens, but what about pigs, etc? I've never been there, but I want to!

I've been trying to combine my four 11 week olds with my four 7 mo. olds this weekend. I didn't think that there would be so much picking-on. Yeah, I thought for a few hours but the older girls are relentless. They're all able to free-range and I had them all sleep in the coop last night which seemed to go OK. Little girls on one roost and big girls on the other. This morning, it's been the same, especially my Light Brahma who leads the pack. She grabs back feathers and doesn't let go.

Did I try too early or am I just being a worrisome mother?

The Stock shop occasionally has baby pigs (not often) and sometimes baby bunnies. Other than that, all I've seen there are different types of poultry. You can call and ask before you go, if it's a long drive.

That is so funny and sad becuase my oldest is 4 and I have several years of that ahead of me. As for the cookies, before I got Celiac I would literally buy $150 of samoas every year! I love those things. Now if you even mention the name I break down into tears.... So please call corporate and see if they can make them gluten free and I will be all over it.

i have a FABULOUS brownie recipe that is gluten free. it was a mistake, i forgot to put the flour in but they are oh sooooooo yummy!!!! happy to send it to you, they were a fave of my SIL's when she was preggers with her last demon seed.

did you know that we have a fall product sale too? candy and nuts, we just finished.

Ok, so I heard some where that if you dilute the fabric softener and wash you birds with it, when they dry out they look fuller and plumpier (is that even a word?) Does this even work?

Also I have light brahmas going to show, if I use the bluing will it do something to the black in their feathers?
I usually wash them with a dog shampoo for lice, mites, ticks, & their eggs. Its kind of a blue color. Will that work instead of the bluing on a white bird? I have only used this on mottled d'uccles before...

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

OH please EVERYONE..

if you haven't voted for Rebecca Nelson yet we NEED to hurry she is getting out voted. This is for the senior girl to get her senior pics done for free, instead of her dad taking her senior pics in the kitchen...
