Erp. When do you get the eggs?

I'll get the eggs Thurs-Saturday, but they need to go in the bator on Dec. 11th for the New Years Hatch...

ARE YOU IN MEG? We could meet somewhere half way to deliver you some eggs!?

I have to set up the wine cooler bator. Will do tomorrow. Will start NOW. Will post Tour pictures when I can't sleep. Going to Zoning dept Monday to check something out...HOA said it's Gilbert keeping me from having chooks, gonna pursue their wrong-headedness until they have a permanent migraine.

Thanks!! I think I might add my coop to next years Tour de Coops!!! We are working on aquaponics. We have about a dozen Tilapia in the pond and are growing wheat grass and "chicken salad" in a couple tubs for the girls. We also have some veggies for us as well. We also took down the one section of the lattice fence between the pool and "grass" (what's left of it)

What do you use for filters? I used to raise koi but never combined it with gardening. I'd love to raise fresh eating fish and I also miss my koi. I wonder if large mouth bass or crappie can be raised that way? Or walleye? So much tastier than tilapia.

You're kidding? They're blaming it on Gilbert? There are buffaloes on Lindsey about 5 miles south of my, right in the middle of town on a little bitty lot! Buffaloes for gosh sakes! I'm not brave enough to keep them and I used to buy wild longhorns right off the Wildlife refuge in OK, never touched by humans. Buffaloes are wild animals that leap 8 foot fences and try to gore people. And they say Gilbert is keeping you from having chickens?

Darnit. We got about 1/20th of an inch. My garden really needs some rain. No irrigation until Feb.

All this rain and we should get our irrigation turn in the next 48 hours! Irony.

Sorry for The delay - here's the rest
Oh and Mama Hen Chris - we (Meg & I) really did read the label to make sure it was water washable.
I'm in the same boat as I stenciled BYC all over my dad's van!

I guess they lied to me too...
This couple had a really great garden - Major composter with worms!

This was a french themed yard - French freedom rangers french decor french this, french that french the other thing...

they really did have an amazing yard!

And a great idea for keeping chickens out of the raised gardens

By this time (well actually early in the morning but whose counting?) Tammy was ready to call it a day.
I talked her into a few more until we ran out of time.
Subsequently this was a quickie - Nice coop, bye...

This was a strange one. An all steel house and a manicured yard.
All to perfect, like a Stepford wife had something to do with it.

They did have some really nice and tame Polish though
(and that's the house in the background)

That's about it. It was a great day! Meg & I had lots of fun - The Control Tower put up with it like a trooper!

Hope that was sufficient for all y'll who requested picts!

Thanks again folks!

Mikey
