'Fraid so Mikey. Ran PERFECTLY for a couple days and then the kick-on-kick off function on the Thermostat started to widen its range. First it went a few degrees kicking on at 95 and off at 101, then worse and worse until overnight about the 5th night it went (according to the range on my remote thermometer) 70 - 120 and climbing. I won't express my true feelings on the matter lest I get banned.

Well, about 10 inches so far from this storm. Add that to the snow from the last few storms, and we have around 3ft. We had to put up extra fencing around our duck pens because of all the snow. They keep walking right over the existing fence, and into each others runs. The chickens hate the snow! They have the option of coming out or staying in, and they choose to stay in. I leave their door open just in case.

At least we will have a white Christmas.

Skiing. Cross country skiing, I haven't done that in so long. Since probably 1986. So peaceful.

So, anybody been reading the OT thread in Flock Management? It was deleted because some old fart called everyone Cannon Fodder.
I tried starting a new thread, not knowing it was against the BYC rules. They froze the darn thing after 6 posts.

I may need to start another and be more discrete, call it something else.
Sometimes I think these rules are meant to protect the guilty. Or, I don't know. It's just so irritating. I better be quiet or I'll end up in jail.

I am in Mesa a few times a month, will contact you next trip and thank you! Will not be until after the 1st as I am very busy (actually overwhelmed) caring for a very ill family member for the next few weeks.... Should or hope to get him back home after Christmas.
