Did something untold happen with the Meg-a-bator?

'Fraid so Mikey. Ran PERFECTLY for a couple days and then the kick-on-kick off function on the Thermostat started to widen its range. First it went a few degrees kicking on at 95 and off at 101, then worse and worse until overnight about the 5th night it went (according to the range on my remote thermometer) 70 - 120 and climbing. I won't express my true feelings on the matter lest I get banned.

That SUX!!!

This is me hunting for a narrow range thermostat.

I know the eggs will take some time to change temp so a slight variance in the on / off is permissible.

But how much? 5 degrees ok? 5 degrees too much? Keep it within plus or minus one degree???

GIMME NUMBERS!!!

Next time you're in Mesa, stop by. We'll dig up as many as you want. Or, PM me and I'll ship you a bunch of little seedlings.

Digg'n up pre-established sounds heartier.

I'll converse w/ the Control Tower & figure out when...

Tammy asks "Weren't those Moringa seeds supposed to be hearty?"

Well...If it didn't get below 97 or above 103 they might survive. So 5 degrees max? 3 degrees would keep me (relatively) sane though. Three degree would mean I could tell in a very short period of time if it were working.
