Checking in from Chandler. I have 3 outlaw black australorps that are 8 weeks old. I think Chandler needs to amend there 200 foot ordinance, it is ridiculous.

Shall I sign you up for remedial math lessons?

Yes, once you get them set, they keep very accurate temperatures--becasue of that accuracy, it can be more difficult to set them: a teeny adjustment can change the setting a LOT. THe digital ones, where you literally dial in the temperature are much nicer, and much more pricey.

I'm actually signed up for an AEPA HS Math prep course - kinda worried about it though.

Was my math faulty?

plus or minus a quarter of a degree is holding within a half a degree.

My silly machinist brain works better in tolerances.

My understanding is that it is + or - .5 degree; either is within half a degree of the setting.
