Arizona Chickens

My Ivy is growing so fast! I found him/her perched on top of the tub, and the two silky chick are in. He gladly hopped up on my hand when I offered it to him and I put him on my shoulder to stay while I was playing a game on the game puter. He liked watching that.. Every evening I get Ivy out to cuddle on my chest while I watch TV. Ivy often goes to sleep. Ivy even snuggles with me! Gosh! What is it about this little one I love so much. I know it time Ivy moved outside but I just can't do it!

I am waiting for the two silkies, that are with him, that are not old enough yet to go outside but know that I don't need a chicken in my room for ever. It's not like he will be super tiny. Really it is better for Ivy to learn to be a chicken. Look at my trying to convince myself!

I had the same issue here, so I signed up to be the leader. You could try that. I also could maybe get you some info about the AZ program. I am in New Mexico, but I have a friend that know all the extension offices for 4H. PM if you need some help. I would love too!

Had to go out and shovel the run this morning. One of my EEs was standing out in the snow it was almost over her back! Never in my life thought I would spend my mornings shoveling snow from my chicken run. So far we have almost 8 inches and its still coming down. Looks like I will have a white Christmas afterall.
