I found it really interesting that you inflated the paddles to get that cool, lifelike appearance. Are they hot when you do that step?

So, Hamburger was safe and sound in the garden this morning. Talked to the neighbor. Turns out he caught " an anorexic white chicken" and put him back. Okaaay. Only white chickens I have are the overgrown fatties.. So we went out back together and I looked in the pen and will you look at that, an extra roo- a white leghorn!

Just what I need right now is an extra rooster, much less a scrawny white leghorn rooster. I sure hope he's healthy and free of parasites.

I was leaving for the festivities at both families so didn't have time to give him the check-up that he needs.
