FYI...I read that Sprouts no longer carried wheat bran in bulk. I was at Sprouts on Val Vista and Williamsfield today and they had it in bulk containers for .69 cents/lb. I bought about 7-8 lbs. For my soon to be mealworm farm

Hubby finished the raised boxes, I need to paint ,but moved the quail, silkies outside...no more birds in the house....oh, I have more quail and some barnyard eggs in the bator

for those looking for welsummers. The new AWESOME store "SHOPPERS" is going to try to order some this week. They should let me know sometime today if they can get some. Just FYI I told them to order 50 because i know pastry and mikey d want more. They were beyond friendly. It is such a change because my local feed store is ran by jerks. This guy acted like we were long lost friends. It was really, really nice. I love giving my business to people that deserve it!!!

While you were there did you happen to see Watering Nipples? I was thinking of dropping in there tomorrow to take a look unless someone here has some extra they are trying to get rid of. Feed and water are my next projects for the hen house.

Why is it that on my birthday I get about 40 posts to my wall and when my dog, my buddy, my shadow dies I get two?
She died yesterday morning quickly and unexpectedly. Apparently she had tumor on a vital organ that ruptured and she bled to death internally in a matter of minutes. We had her at emergency within 10 minutes of her collapse but there was nothing they could do.
Happy and healthy one minute, gone the next.

Gosh, I'm so sorry Becky.
