Well we candled the remaining eggs in the incubator today, set to go into lock down tomorrow night. We couldn't see anything but darkness, guess that's a good sign though.

Fuzzybird,
we got the pet quality serama hen (she was in with a nice looking roo). The two PQ Seramas were in together in a pen on the floor, next to another pen with two show quality seramas. Our hen was from Rachel in Douglas, AZ I believe? Is Rachel on here I wonder? She is lovely, but also very wild...we are hoping she calms down !!The other new hens are enjoying their treats and and adapting well!![]()
I am so hoping today when I get home that my new hen has laid me an egg.I can't stop thinking about it. I wish I could leave work and head home to keep an eye on her today. If it's not eaten or broken (by my husband or kids) I'll be posting a picture tonight. She's such a pretty EE. She is scared to death of me though. Not sure how we're going to over come that.

Tried Strawberries yesterday. She didn't want any part of it. What other kind of appealing treats? Should I not feed her out of a bowl and only offer hand fed food, if so, how much? how often?Treats, lots of treats.![]()
