in other news, i am beginning to think the fireman is right(don't any of you DARE tell him). he says, " chicks be crazy " but with more fireman type language. but i have found that this also applies to birds. example, my two broodies and their new hatchlings. one hen(blue wheaten am) the other(dark brahma) look totally different. these crazy chicks have spent the day organizing themselves by color to match their new mama. the buff colored ones, under the wheaten. the single black one, under the brahma. the poor pale blue almost lavender chick has been nest hopping not being able to find the right color mama. the yellow chick threw in the towel and stayed with the brahma. see what i mean? chicks be crazy and i have been up waaaayyyyyyy too long starring at that incubator and peakiing under hens that delirium has set iin and it's all gobbledegook. ooooohhhhhh, i get my wellie eggs this weekend
