This is White Tail. She is such a sweetheart, and always comes running over to me, anytime I go into the yard, thinking that I have treats!

What a little trooper she is. Poor little Blue Bell, bless her heart.

Thought I would post this picture of old Blue Bell without her tail. She is pretty perky today despite the awful hot wind! The temperature is unreal! Her wings cover her poor bare back. She is looking old these days. This will be her 3rd trauma that could have killed her!

And my little precious African goose, Nana! She recovered from her injuries from the dog attack after heroically trying her best to defend the flock from that mean old dog. I just love this girl. She follows me everywhere, and has so much to say. She is my kind of girl!

From left to right: Dark Phoenix (From X-Men), Sunrise, Lita, and Jean Grey (From X-Men) Now, let me explain a little about Dark Phoenix and Jean Grey. Both are EE hens. They have the exact same colors. The only difference is Jean Grey has golden feathers laced with black. Dark phoenix has the exact opposite, she has black feathers laced with gold...hence their names!

Sheila! It is totally not my fault that a drake has a girls name!

Our really good friend and realtor asked to name one of our ducklings. We let her choose which one she wanted to name, and she chose this one, before she knew it was a boy of course
