Darn I missed the potluck too . Since the weather has been cooler Ive been working outside more and then the storms made more clean up. Thought id sit down tonight to get caught up for an hour and im so far behind on posts its taking 2 hours. Sounds like everyone had a great time at the potluck. I wouldnt mind going to one over on my side of town sounds like fun.

Oh ... Ok... That was easy.. I was thinking it was certain areas of BYC...
I just added a few new people to " Follow member".
That must be the key? Anyway, yes will send out an invite when the weather permits..
Hopefully soon.. We have out gatherings in our front yard, out door family!!
We have a blazing fire & roasted marshmallow's.. So hopefully soon..
By then our new flock will be about 1-2 months old..

Well, the weekend gathering was such a great time with a fantastic turn-out. It was so much fun hanging out with old friends, putting faces with names and making new friends. We talked and laughed 'til late into the evening/early morning. I just want to thank everyone for coming and providing such interesting conversation and amazing food. My only regret is that there wasn't enough time to spend with each person as I would have liked. We'll definitely have to do this again.

BYC can be a bit funny with pic posting for new members. Sometimes it might not let you post pics until you have a certain number of posts--I suspect you're getting close though, if you're not already there. Here is the BYC tutorial for posting pics. BTW, we love pics around here!

Gallo, thank you for hosting that potluck! I had a great time. Learned a lot, too. Stayed way later than I had planned and I wasn't the last to leave. Would have stayed even later if I hadn't had to get up at 4 this morning. Count me in for the next one!

X2. It was fun to talk about chickens to chicken people and meeting everybody. Glad the storm held off until yesterday, I bet you got dumped on. We got 1.2" over here on the NW side and the power was out all night.
