Arizona Chickens

Thanks for all the help, I found the answers to my question. I have Braggs ameno acid. I will get the apple cider vinager. Thanks again.

My girls are about 10 weeks old, still looking for a Wayndotte any color about the same age or older. I have made some calls... No luck, do not think a chick will work. Not until one of my girls get broody.  they haven't even laid an egg yet.
I am not sure if a new member would be accepted very well anyway. A cactus Wren got into the girls run while they were out, Clare and Lucy were the closest to there run and lead the attack, when I caught the pure little bird Vony flow up and tried to pick her. Is this common to be so protective of their territory? I am finding more dove tail feathers.... I wonder if they caught more then one dove in their pin. I have not seen a dove go in their run for a couple of days.

When my girls are out in the yard, they will chase any dove that comes near them. Funny to watch them attack.

Not the best pics but thought you would enjoy.

These are the chicks I got from beehappy (not the buff orpington) They will be 4 weeks old on Wednesday

Remind you of a scene from I Love Lucy and Harpo Marx?
Next time there is a flapper contest you need to enter at least two of them! Bet you would win!

I have noticed more black dots on my girls comb & wattle.. Is that something to worry about?
Since our girls are just starting to lay.. I heard a few words like egg bound? If a hen sits on her nest with out laying an egg.. Length of time? 1day to long..
With no egg... Would that be considered egg bound..
Is there something we could do?? The warm water right bath?
Not that we have that.. Just want to stay informed...
