Arizona Chickens

I love goat milk, as long as there are no bucks around. Their stink messes up the milk. I had a friend that had 2 very handsome bucks. She bathed them every day so she could use the milk.
In my experience the buck is kept separate from the does except during breeding. I used to own Nigerian Dwarfs, two does and two wethers. They were all very sweet and naughty escape artists.

:he my transmission just whent out. I called AAA, I told them: I am on I-17 southbound , south of Old Black Canyon City Rd and north of Table Masa Rd. I am 9.8m month of Anthem Market Place, 4.5 miles south of Old Black Canyon Hwy where it joins I-17. Nearest city is Black Canyon City, 4.5 miles behind me.

It took over 25 minutes to get my location. Was I not clear? I don't understand. Now there is an accident up a head, I'm still waiting, it is going to be a long evening. My girls are going to miss their evening snack. Now I hope the tow truck will take me home after dropping my car off. If he comes at all..:fl

That is no fun :( If you need the number to a good mechanic please let me know, my dad has a shop in Glendale. He does warranty work and out of warranty work and always has the best price around. Hope you get it all sorted out.

Thank you, I've been going to Thunderbird since 87. I have a 2006 with 5 year warranty. In 2010 I had the same symptoms, took it in to Honda, they said nothing was wrong. I have 33,792 miles, hardly driven it in the past 2 yrs. Oh! I did bring it in last year, asked to check the smell..... Again nothing was wrong. This will be first time to Thunderbird with this car. I am afraid what a transmission will coast. On SSI, not much extra. I think I am going to really be look

accident

I was just writing something, and I was hit by a pick up. Just getting out of the hospital. I'm Ok, my car not so. Police do not know much. They got the info from the truck. They (firemen insisted I go to get checked out.

I want to get home and check on my girls.

When we rebuilt the association ramada and bathrooms several years ago, the plumber put in some sort of non-metal flexible tubing. Red line for hot water (not that the hot water heater is ever turned on) and blue for cold. I don't recall the name of the material, but copper had a 1 year warranty whereas this stuff has 20 year warranty,

It's called PEX. It stands for poly ethylene and the x means its crossed linked; unlike the grey polybutylene that split and flooded so many homes. Copper will usually carry a manufactures warranty of 5 years but yes the pex is 20, at least it is for the brand Wirsbo (now called Uponor) The other brands ie: sharkbite, gatorbite, vangaurd, manablock, zurn, not so much.

Well now, didn't you just give something like 50 last month?!? LoL! It's an addiction, I tell you. Where's the nearest chicken-hatchers-anonymous group located? I think we need to sign you up...

On a side note, I'll send you a PM, but do you have any whites for sale? I need to replace the one that we lost the other week. I really don't want two broken flocks. So far, the Barred Rocks have been really slow taking to the Silkies.

Oh my goodness, you are just having the worst luck! On the positive note, I guess that may be a way to have your original problem added in to the accident's damage, depending on what was wrong and how bad the accident was. I remember hearing about a guy who's radiator had just cracked, when some moron in front of him slammed the gas pedal when the light changed. His car was in reverse, so he slammed backwards in to the cracked radiator. Yup, accident covered it all.

More than anything, I hope all is well and you aren't too hurt. If you end up needing one, I have a very good chiropractor at 91st Avenue and Camelback Road. Dr. Bryan Mack at Camelback Chiropractic. He's worked wonders for my wife. She started seeing him after she was rear-ended while she was pregnant. He was the only one recommended for a pregnancy. Since his insurance will be covering it, I would at least go in and get X-rays done. They do physical therapy prior to each session, so it's a true, legitimate treatment.

Bottled water in this country is a a Madison Avenue ruse. For the most part we have the best water in the world. If anything gets my blood boiling it is the misues of WATER. Water as a commodity is WRONG and wars will be fought over water. It is true that water directly from the faucet in some areas tastes awful but a filtration system fixes that . Also pouring out your drinking water ahead of time and letting the chlorine dissapate is good.

If you care about how our world is run by commerce do a search on Water and global limits. We could do so much better if we learned how to use this wonderful resource that so many people in the world sacrifice so much in order to have enough not to be thirsty.

Water is never used up; it is merely dirtied up and passed along. The real challenge is to clean it up and re use it.

Hopefully they will be eliminating it and just making your back yards bigger. That is what they have been doing here to the neighborhood west of us. Some people will end up with a bigger yard than others and will have the main sewer running through it.

Well, ADOT was supposed to begin widening the freeway in 2014, and that would take our house. Luckily, they wasted the money on some other projects like that Sonoran Boulevard fiasco. Now they have pushed our project back to 2022. I probably will be dead by then. And the sales tax to finance the thing expires in 2024. That tells me that they have themselves painted into a corner and it isn't going to happen, or at least not in my lifetime.

Frankly, I would prefer to see the alleys paved so that people can access and exit their property without getting killed by the traffic.

I guess I will just paint my chicken coop and plant some peach trees since it looks like I will be staying here til the end.
