What? I love squeaky balls. My husband gets mad because I buy one or two for the dog almost every time I go to the store.

I've had a really busy day already, I went to Market on the Move and then to the Valley Permaculture Alliance's tree pick up, to get the fruit trees (an apricot and a plum) and the pomegranate bushes that were my husband's Christmas present. Right now, I'm getting Michael down for a nap, while Rob is in the back yard, working on my Christmas present. I got him the plants, and now he's giving me holes in the ground

Awww! What a special present he got you.

What kind of apricot and plum did you get him?

Fuzzybird: I'm not really sore. It has been said I bounce well. Thank you for asking. I have a headache, but I think it is stress. Insurance will take care of the car, but I have to pay the. Deductible and I have the transmission. I will find out ether Monday or Tuesday. If I didn't have to pay taxes I may have enough. Will this is not the first time, will mostly not be the last time, I will survive this too. Right now I am counting my blessings, and I am working on my health.

They (blue/gray) & (black) was supposed to be Silver Lace Wyandotte. We think she is a Orpington, she looks just like the Buff O, thank you. The black one has a single comb, may be a coach sex, link. In the sun it is iridescent blue/turquoise & purple.


I have to go back to work, it is going to be really hard to take most jobs after the life I have lived. Part times jobs such as McDonalds, Circle K, and cashier is pure torture for me. I am not physically fit to do asphalt work, lumper, or even driving a truck, I has been to many years sense I left Autocad drafting, to many changes in technology. No body wants a board draftsman, (I do Architectural, Civil, and Mechanical) my code and reference library is ether out of date or I no longer have it. Until my garden starts producing I my girls are not going to get the green treats as they have been getting. I feel bad about that, shouldn't, but I do. I have about 3 mo. of food for them.

Destroys them within an hour... even the things that say they are made for tough chewers. Every so often I find one that lasts a little longer.

But they make him so happy!

i am sick to death of being sick! before i worked in an elementary school i rarely even got the sniffles. now i have had the flu twice this year ALREADY. and so has a girl i work with. i thought you could only get it once so was shocked and unhappy. i dont have it now thankfully. but i have a sore throat and earache and i feel the sinus congestion coming on and i just got over being sick about 10 days ago. ugh....
it looks like it should be a nice day to clean the coop and chicken yard. they have shredded paper all over the place since they were digging deep to stay warm this past week. the brats...

Yeah, isn't it insane how sick our children are? It's like my daughters are always being warned about this illness or that.

Sometimes I hate to say it because of the backlash I get, but I think a lot is the vaccinations we give. The pro-vaccine crowd treats us worse that the stuff we flush down the toilet. But as the vaccinations have increased, so has diseases. I think that when we reduced the common diseases, we open the door for worse ones to come Jandra to play.

Like this year. The flu vaccines are "well suited" to this year's strains and we are at a 25-year high in our vaccination rates. And yet this is the worst season we'Bella had in 50 years. Europe does not mass-vaccinate against the flu and they are not having our epidemic.

Things just aren't adding up.

DH just surprised me...he said he'd love to have a goat or two! I just don't think we have the proper space and when I told him that he can't just put them in the back yard like a dog, he wasn't so excited anymore.

. *sigh* someday....

Don't you have a area you can fence off in the corner of your yard? Did you know these little guys can be trained to walk on a leash? You just got to make sure you are allowed to have one.

Europe they have a lot of organic based foods, their cows, pigs, chicken, sheep, and goats do not get antibiotics in their food, they do not live under the same stress. Butchering, sadly I can say nothing, I do not know anything about. I do wonder, they have a lot of foods that are against the law in this country such as Cheeses, sausages, and slow aged meats, the meats have rotted, then turned the corner to safe (fermented). But we can't have it here. If I bought goat raw goat milk warm from the goat, you have to label it not for human consumption pet food only.
