Just think about it , you could get little cages and everything they need for a while and when the fun is over back they come.

Manhonri good luck with all those eggs.

My eggs are hatching today.

2 out before I left for work and hubby called said 4 are out now. I had trouble with the little basket I used. I wasn't thinking I guess. It had little holes on the side of the basket.
Anyone want to quess what happened with the first chick?

OMG I hope you are teasing me. My "BS" filter must not be working today...I have already fallen for 3 "member appreciation" ( ap ril fo ols) jokes.

Just checking in and saying Hello.

I am curious if you guys have some stock/feed stores in town that you recommend for getting chicks from. I have heard some bad stories about a few places so i am curious what places you would recommend. I wanted to try and order from the internet but every time i think i have found a place that has chicks sometime in mid april i find out they are sold out till June. SO... Anyway let me know your thoughts. Thanks guys.

I will try and post some pictures of the area that I will dedicate to my chickens soon just to see if you guys have feedback on my plans

I can't believe I'm here at work and my chicks are hatching. I thought I had it planned so well, I always work on Thursdays away from home. I set them on a Friday thinking they would hatch on Friday. I locked down on Tuesday. Should of I locked down on Monday?

I was already nuts.

IMO-

North Phoenix-
The Stock Shop: Largest selection/
Western Ranchman: My favorite...good people.
The Feed Barn(?) on Union Hills and Cave Creek: Meh. Got my BO from there.

BIOCHICK- I don't think it matters. If they are already hatching, it is a moot point. I have hatched eggs that were still in the turner (I thought they were due on the 23rd, but I guess it was the 13th) and had shipped eggs start to incubate in the mail.

Did you read the faqs? the "Dont ask dont tell" about returned hens. I like that they practice biosecurity.

I guess I can't speak for everybody, but I AM just an avatar. . . a picture floating in cyberspace, with no corporeal existance. That's why my chickens like me so much!
