The DH got the dresser and a ping pong table for free.

The bedroom set has "Ethan Allen" burnstamped all over it. Shweet.

Great find Laree! Congrats, it looks very nice. (plus your sons is super cute) I'm looking for a bed myself though I doubt I'll sleep in it. It would be wonderful to find a REAL bed frame and not use plastic underbed storage containers to support my mattress. Your chickas are looking dashing, the second one looks so soft...

Laree those are some great looking birds. One day I hope I can help you guys out a lot and hopefully land some of those chickens for my own back yard

Just about to get me some chickens is there anything you are looking for to get for the Aloha project that I could grab and raise for you guys?

Just let me know I am happy to do that and donate the bird for breeding or whatever. Wish i could do a rooster of my own (stupid laws)

Today I spent wrapping many (many) pieces of soundboard with plastic. Gosh, that was fun. Tomorrow I'll be doing the same, all for the love of (noisy-screaming-at-the-crack-of-dawn) pheasants in love. I can't wait for June...

On a good note I had another chick hatch so I have 10 more little fuzzy mille fleur (project of course) cochins to raise up

Morning all!

Has anyone heard from Tonapah Pati lately? She's been so quiet.

Enjay-the new momma is doing really well. I was a little worried at first, but I think she has got it down! I only saw the chicks once--when she thought I wasn't looking. I tried to take a picture but all I got was "Angry Broody".

Shaun- I think I am good for right now. We'll chat soon.

Mahonri- if you fellas weren't here, it would be very boring indeed.

Good morning all....

I think that this weekend is going to be a love/hate weekend...the calls for birds started last night...I love selling birds to people, but this holiday brings out the strange people....I have people offering $5 for my adult birds that ARE NOT for sale....I don't have any adults for sale at all......and if I had some adults they would be a lot more than $5 each....Also the questions about chick care are getting dumber and dumber....I don't mind answering questions at all, I love to talk chickens...

Give me the strength to get through this weekend.........I am glad that you all are good chicken parents...
