Hello All,

As many of you know I have been interested in getting some Jersey Giant chicks from the beginning and found some 11 week old pullets on craigslist (i assume basically full grown or at least teenagers) I was curious what ages of other birds i can put with those birds and also if anyone has any pullets that would work with them that would be ok to go with them. I don't want very many birds at this point. I have decided to just try my hand with a few birds and see where that takes me

This is of course thanks to everyone here's great advice and guidance since i have been here on these forums.

Let me know your guys thoughts on this. And if you think those birds are a bad idea let me know also. You all have much more chicken knowledge than me.

New Arizona law 1070.

I don't agree. Gives police the right to question "mexican-looking" people if they are really citizens. They must show paper work if questioned. Really?! Some racial discrimination had to be involved in creating this law....

Wish I could sleep.

I'll be by myself with the 7 and 9 year old all day today. I've still got to clean the coop, water the yard and weed the flower bed.

My garden is producing NICELY!!! Cauliflower is all gone, still cutting broccoli, had green beans & bacon yesterday, YUM, zucchini will be ready to pick next week. blossoms on the cantaloupe plant, Corn is higher than it's ever been and the pole beans are growing up nice. Picked a HUGE red tomato yesterday. I'm having beets and beet greens for lunch today. I think I'll be living from my garden for the next two months!!

7 year old has a high fever... motrin, sprite and Popsicles I guess... I've got to run down to Big 5 to buy a basketball for DS#5 who will turn 13 on Sunday. I have 4 teenagers!

I had posted pictures when it was finished. . . will try to find them and repost. . . or take a new one with the sign attatched. . .
You could probably do a search back in the messages for the one with the pic. . .
