Look what i found!!! Was so surprised!

But they were hidden from me. How long can they stay good for left outside in the nest they made? No direct sun, it's been less than 100 degrees lately. Hasn't been longer than 3 days. Still good to eat?

Ahhhhh!!! Couldn't be happier!!!

Wow how fun... :woot

Info on egg storage. We use thongs to collect our eggs.. We want to protect the
Bloom by not touching them with our hands.. We also leave on the counter

Got my 1st egg! My polish girl, Calico, is the only hen out of 5 chicks that I got from a straight run back in May. I kept 1 rooster & they are the cutest couple!!

My welsummer (summer) and her brooder buddy an ameraucana (liberty) should both start laying in a month or so. Then I have 6 more a month behind them. I have a silver laced Cochin (Lacey), a Marian of some kind I was told (turkey), a salmon favarolle (ivory), an aracana (america), a golden lakenvelder (squeakers) and my favorite a Russian orloff (anya). Nine girls & my buddy Spot (white crested blue polish). In the spring I will get some meaties so I planning a 2nd coop for them & also my garden! I live in Mayer & love this site!!

I'm seriously going to pull my hair out.
LAY AN EGG **** IT!
Onyxia has been taunting me for weeks with her comb and her squatting.

I'm home all day and check on her constantly and she's never out of site for more than a few minutes so I don't think she's hiding them. Today I'm going to scour the bushes. I'm getting out the rake and cleaning up under them so she can't hide them from me.

And now Tea's comb is starting to get large and red fast. Her comb actually started before Ony's but then stopped for a while now it's having another growth spurt but she isn't squatting yet.

HURRY UP!!!!!!!
