Hello, all. I haven't been around for a year or so, so I thought I would reintroduce myself. I just completed a move to a new house on the NW side of Tucson (River & LaCholla-ish) and I am starting a new little flock within the next few days, so I will probably be hanging around the forum more often.![]()
I know I will never get caught up on all I missed, but I've gone back a little bit. I recognize some of the names, and its really great to see how many people have stuck around for so long. Anyway, just wanted to say Hi.![]()

Quote: It's a Babcock then. Fujis only just recently started leafing out and blooming here in Tucson.
ok yeah my other apple tree only has a few leaves and some blooms. I freaked out thinking it was a goner and not sure why...lol Thanks. I am new to fruit trees. I bought a book but have not read enough of it and it is not as location specific as I would like but very informative. It's a Babcock then. Quote: Yeah, our climate complicates matters. The Fuji is a late fall producing apple and they also get a late start growing in the spring. This is my third year with the fuji and each spring I wondered if I succeeded in killing it.
It's amazing how something so small can enrich your life. This site is awesome. All this information at the touch of a finger. Thanks to all of you members who seem to be patrolling around helping everyone. Thanks also to the person who created the Site, App and Idea.
