Arizona Chickens

Karen we have some twins! The ones with speckles on the head are the buttercups. The yellow/white with white wings is the orloff. The grey is a blue sumatra.

The others are the RIR and black giant right?

Does anyone know where I can find some fertile eggs locally? -- preferably not a mix (unless EE) because I will have to rehome the chicks at about 6 weeks of age (no room to keep them).

I was sitting this morning thinking quietly to myself about humans caring for little chicks. I thought we all fret and worry over our little fuzzy friends. You know temps and feeds and poopy hineys and the such. If raised by the momma hen she sits on them and lets them eat whatever happens to crawl by. They turn out great!! Amazing!!! As for the humans we do all this special stuff and try to be so careful and we still screw it up sometimes.

The orloff in my bunch was the first one to get a name. That one's TicTac. The rest will just have to wait and see.

Our orloff my girls named princess. The amaraucana is lulu. No one else has a name.

True blues are grey. The yellow/black are splash. Scroll down to the pic with black/blue side by side. I'm no expert. It would be cool if they are. Either way they are so cute
