Another thing, WHY ARE YOU UP?

Im always up this late... not sure why when my 2.5 year old will wake me sometime around 7 am <sigh> I dont have any recent pictures I need to take some soon. I left the camera in the car or I would do it now

on this one you can see the male in the front (grey) and the one in the back right (brownish)

After looking again I have 5 males for sure and a few more that are maybes

it may end up quite a few males. not really what I wanted.

I've gotta get some sleep... still lots ahead this weekend. Wedding and concert were great last night. Today it's clean the coop, pick more beans in the garden, go to another wedding and make certain the lawn at the office gets done.

The pool was refreshing today.

so random dumb (2:30 am probably not thinking clearly) question.

Anyone have a Incubator I could borrow or rent or something like that? or maybe does anyone want to go in on some eggs that they can hatch for me and we can both get chicks??

Thinking about getting some eggs but must make arrangements. Maybe anyone have an incubator they want to sell?? I want to try and get a good one if i buy one since i want some stranger chickens so the eggs are not cheap

Thoughts??

They are really cute but it sucks there are so many males. Could always list them on CL.
Do you think they would die if they were release somewhere safe?

TOFU- I have a couple of neighbors who have fertile eggs that they might part with. What breed are you looking for?
I will ask them what they have today, and if they will sell you some.

RIR-- I have a batch of bananasthat never yellowed, but did ripen. No one here wll eat them over-ripe, so I am going to make peanutbutter banana brownies.

we just finished putting the coctail peach tree in the run. Then we let the chicks out of the brooder---they get free range with the big chickens, but usually just hang out around the brooder. I want them to have a chance to explore without bossy biddies on hand.
