Arizona Chickens

Got a couple possibles but I do have to sell my truck first. I'll be glad to have a vehicle with no computer in it so that I can wrench on it. Changing my fuel pump in the 05 was ridiculous. I get caught up in shiny and new sometimes and was thinking I wanted a big brand new GMC. Then I got to thinking how much I hate paying a mechanic. I'll stick with the classic. Blow a motor, $1500 for everything. Fuel pump $25 need I say more.

Say no more, my feelings exactly. After getting bent over by a Dodge dealer in Phx about 15 years ago, I don't let anyone work on my vehicles but me.

I'm cheap, and I can afford my labor rates. And, I'm always satisfied with the quality of the work performed.

I never had anyone to teach me so I bought a Bronco, ripped out the motor and blasted every single part. Painted it and put it back together except for a few minor things that I couldn't figure out. A guy that hangs around the shop that I worked on it said he'd finish it. I've dissappeared with it, I left for Basic Training and never saw it again.

Now I have a vehicle that all I can do is change the oil really. I like wrenching on my own stuff as well but they get you with that shiny new paint and steel.

The guava fruit I got from your tree was delicious!  And aromatic too.  I let it ripen even more and it was a beautiful pink inside, yellow outside.  I planted a bunch of the seeds and now have maybe 10 guava seedlings!  They get morning sun and seem to love the heat.  I need to get them out of the flat they are in and put them in pots or the ground. I probably should give some away, that's way too many if they all grow.

Let me know if you want moringa cuttings instead of seed when you are ready to plant again.  It can give you a jump start.

I've heard that moringas are tasty to termites so check to see if something ate the roots.  If so plant them in a different location.

I would

My DH just did something similar - he sold his 07 Silverado 2500 and replaced it with a '61 Chevy (for when he needs a truck) and an 03 Tracker (to tow behind the RV)!

In Phoenix, where are some good places to look for chicks? I'm not looking for anything rare just normal standard breeds. I will probably be heading up there tomorrow and I'm looking for a few more chicks.

If you are in the East Valley you can check Ace Hardware in Chandler, Higley Feed in Gilbert, and Mesa Feed Barn in Mesa. It's probably a good idea to call first to see what they have but I know that when Mesa Feed Barn gets new chicks they get them on Thursdays and Ace in Chandler gets them in on Fridays. Ace orders from McMurry and Mesa Feed Barn orders mostly from Ideal Poultry.

I will go wherever I need to go honestly, but I will be from West Phx to South Mountain area. But after traveling that far, another 30 mins to an hour is not a problem lol. My husband sells cars and its possible we might be shopping and we will go all over Phoenix looking at cars anyway.
