I hope that works for you guys-- I don't really think it would help me. I went out to pick up what little dog poo there was and the flies weren't even on it (probably because it was all dried from the sun) They are just all over the grass in all the shady areas... weird. Maybe I'll have DH cut the grass down super low. I'll get some fly traps at Lowe's too... maybe I can find less stinky ones.

You dont HAVE to put it in a pile of poo---just a pile of loose stuff the predators can dig into and hide. I tossed a bunch in the garden, under the cabbages & they took care of the whiteflies pretty quickly.

Two questions for you guys!

What would kill 2 full sized rabbits, eat only their heads and front legs, and leave them under our stairs with guts strewn everywhere? I'm locking the chicken coop up extra tight.

And, also, I turned my back on my toddler for a minute and he filled the bag of BOSS up with water. There is no way to salvage it, is there?

SOOO how many people have their coops air conditioned? How well does that work and can your coop also open up in the winter or when its not 110 outside?

I already have an ac unit that could more than handle the coop just not sure if i should do that or not. Its a complete 180 from where i started but It would be set and forget...

We will see when this months water bill shows up how painful I think the AC will be to pay for compared to watering down my yard most of the day to keep them cool.

Gotta get to building the permanent coop here soon. Just am not sure what I want to do....

Chupacabra? But seriously sorry to hear that happened and I have no idea what would do that. And I don't know what BOSS is but I do know that most of what my toddler does is not salvageable.

Are you in town? I've heard of people in the far north Scottsdale area having issues with javalinas attacking house pets. But I can't imagine a pig catching a rabbit.

Either way, I'm sorry to hear of your loss.
