By the way, Meaty our shoulder-roosting NH pullet has now decided that the TV or BBQ outside are not good enough to roost on. Now she's getting on our porch light. weirdo.

BOSS is Black Oil Sunflower Seed. On another thread, someone mentioned that they sprout it before giving it to their chickens, so it might be ok. As dry as it is right now, I bet that if you spread it out on a sheet or something, and maybe covered it so the wild birds couldn't get to it, it would dry out and be just fine.

I tried to send you a PM about some property being auctioned off on a mountain in Utah. I messed it up because I am not that computer savy. They are 20 acre parcels that were seized by the US Treasury. The zip code is for Coalville, but the property is outside Wanship.

What do you know about the area? I haven't been back up to Utah in forty years.

In the past, I have had some degree of success with these auctions.

RUFUS,

I'll PM YOU ALSO...

and you can e-mail me too... just click the little e-mail button.

I'm glad you went with getting the predators too. They are working well here still for me, but I have found over the years I need to get a few more shipments that what I originally planned for.

A solar trap works well in addition to predators, less smelly and easily made with a HD bucket and some old screen.
