I collected some tonight, I hope they stay in the container.

I did give them a bit of food to encourage them to stay. I need to put out some grapefruit halves in the yard, they always make snail collection easier. Just lift them up and shake the snails into a bucket. Put the halves back and come back a little later and repeat. Once you don't get snails move the halves to a different location.

Yes, but can a coyote dig to get to them?

No, you can't really see it in the pics, but there is a 3 foot welded wire "apron" tied all along the bottom of the fence. It is also in the middle of the yard, at least 50 feet away from any of the perimeter fencing, and my 3 dogs do a pretty good job of patrolling the perimeter. They have trails worn in the weeds!

I figured, I don't even know why I asked.. :idunno

I think [@=/u/93512/desertmarcy]@desertmarcy[/@] has some???

She may not. I think I bought all she had.

Whoowww, well, I will check in with her.. We really want a hen from her.. If she does not have any, we will be calling you..our next hatch is due on the 11th.. We don't plan on keeping any of the chicks, but the last 2 batches, we lost some to fowl pox, a cat, I think and 3 roosters.. Thinking about sticking one or two of her chicks under Cheryl.. Of couse only if the timing is right.. Keep us posted on your hatches..

Im looking for a couple ameraucana hens to pair with my roo if anybody has some. Im planning on hatching some eggs from all of my hens once they start laying again and would love some pure ameraucanas. Psi have never hatched eggs before.

What variety Ameraucana?

We would like bearded, and blue layer.. We have one W.A. Hen.. The last hatch, I think we have a rooster.. One more blue layer for us.. :weee when is your next hatch?
