Arizona Chickens

I've got two Seramas and I'd love to have any that you hatch out! They do make great house pets, my little rooster sits on my head and watches TV with me lol

Hoy, hice un plata de pollo para la cena. Today, I made chicken pot pie for dinner. My GF is teaching me Spanish. She doesn't know how to say chicken pot pie, so that just says chicken plate.
The phrase I learned yesterday is "fuimos a la tienda y compramos a la comida y tostadora, y palillos de dientes. We went to the store and bought food, and a toaster, and toothpicks.

Nope lol he hasn't pooped on me or on anything in the house, hopeful he never does!

I met a young man a few weeks ago who had a Polish rooster that would use the doggy door to go outside and relieve himself before re-entering the house to hang out. He said the bird just did it without ever being trained to do so. I guess it learned from watching the dogs?

That is so cool. I would never have that kind of luck.

Im looking for a couple ameraucana hens to pair with my roo if anybody has some. Im planning on hatching some eggs from all of my hens once they start laying again and would love some pure ameraucanas. Psi have never hatched eggs before.

@moms3cuties , here is an update on the pen construction. Please ignore all the tools and material debris, it is a work in progress! This pic is of the north side and this is the south side..... east side.... and the view from my bedroom window. The next pen will go up on the south side (the left side of the pic above). All it takes is time and money!
Looking great :thumbsup
Yes, but can a coyote dig to get to them?

I just came in from outside on the front patio. I heard a rustling in the olive tree overhead, looked and there was that gray fox coming down. I watched it run off, climb the chain link fence, and run down towards the wash. I guess he/she decided it was safer to sleep up in the tree instead of on my roof since last time I pulled he down from the roof!

I wish you could get photos? I know it is hard to carry a camera at all times.. Something happened to me today, I wish I would of took a photo!!! Love the pure maple syrup you turned us onto!!
