Arizona Chickens

My husband and I rescued this tiny chicken. I have no idea what she is and the people in the forums don't really either. She's just a mix, but really interesting. Super sweet, friendly, but a bit terrorized. She spend the first few days puffing up at everything. Lol

She looks A LOT like my hatchery Australorps, but I would be she's mixed with something else....possibly something bantam? She looks small, but mature.

Hey all! I'm in tempe and need to rehome a rooster FAST! He's a cutie and doesn't have much crow on him yet but sure does love the ladies. Free to anyone who wants him. We just need him gone, quick!

This boy has a no crow collar on. You can't see it, it doesn't bother him.. We put it on him at night.. Here is a video of a rooster crowing..

What other breeds do you have ??

Oh no, I didn't know there was a difference or actually didn't even have the knowledge that there was a difference until now. Thank you for the information.

The hatcheries don't sell "real" Rhode Island Reds. They might say they do, but their birds are not up to standard. There really is a huge difference, almost not even the same breed.

So sadly, I can not read the information about these girls and expect the RIR information to hold true for my girls? What do I look up? Production red?

I am not understanding your question. What information exactly are you talking about? They will lay the same color egg as a standard bred RIR, they are just not the same temperament or body type or color.
