Here are pics of the roos I'd love to rehome. They are about 14 weeks old. The cuckoo maran (1st pic) is very randy already and has tried breeding some of my girls. The second is the EE - he is feathering nicely and the third one is the welsummer who will be a beautiful roo. He has delightful colors already and his waddles and comb are nicely formed. Message me if you are interested. I'm not selling them - just want to rehome. ALSO does anyone remember who it is that takes roos in the Phoenix Valley area? The word Pratt sticks in my brain but I'm not sure about who it is. I'd like to call to see if maybe that will work. Thanks.

These were wanting roosters at craigslist. I did a search there to find them again.

Thank you @BlueBaby - I did check with them and they weren't willing to get rid of two hens - for three roosters - too hard to incorporate just one hen into a mix! BUT the cuckoo maran is now gone - so I am now down to two. They are a bit more mellow so I don't feel as pushed as I did with the randy cuckoo!

Well, I tried to help. :barnie Glad that you were able to re-home the randy one.

Now, for me to try to sell this breeder pair of chicks that were born the first week in May. The Black one is a male, and the Blue one is a female. My next door neighbor kept buying all of my chicks, so I had held these 2 back, so that someone else might have a chance to start breeding some. Now my next door neighbor found 2 of their hens that went broody and had hidden nest's, so they have their own chicks now. :lau

When I went out to feed, water, and collect eggs yesterday, I had to laugh. In the pen that my young Blue rooster is in, he was trying to breed with a Black hen in there, and one of the Blue hens chased him off the Black. He has been trying so hard with them. Anyways, just out of curiosity, I cracked open 2 of the eggs from that pen to check to see if he was managing to do anything. One of the eggs was fertile and one was not, so it shouldn't be much longer until all the girls start surrendering, I think.

Are any of you on facebook? I don't do facebook, but I just found out about this. There is a chicken coop raffle going on, so if you are on the hunt for another coop, then maybe you could check it out.

There's a "Chicken Raffle Club" on facebook? haha! There's a page for everything there. I'm in a few AZ poultry type groups on facebook, they can get interesting. Especially since facebook is cracking down now on their "no selling animals" policy.

There must be. I was told that "It's a Facebook group. On Facebook look up Chicken Raffle Club and click join." I don't want to join facebook, and I'm just passing the info along for those who might like being on facebook.
