Remember my chicken fuzzy with the breathing weezing before? I saw a small yellow spot inside on the corner of her mouth I don't know if it's food stuck there or what, I hope it's not canker from wild birds! Canker pics look a lot different but in have to wait for another person so I can swab the mouth and get a better look.. uggghhhh having more chickens sure brings more issues

I woke up today with a cute email from my next door neighbor that I have been watching the animals for when his job send's him up to Kingman for a few days at a time!

I'm outside in my barn. Got some more chicken feed, since your egg layers are getting bigger. Holler before you come outside and I will drive over.

A fan and a stand mister. That's at nest box level so the roost is a little warmer, the girls on the roost are panting a bit but not nearly like they would be otherwise.

My coop is 8' x 12' with a 12' long 6' high open front covered with shade cloth. I have to stir the litter every morning after I open up because it gets wet though.

We are getting a storm

We are getting lots of wind and lightening...wondering what is to come as we only had a 10% chance of rain for this evening.

I'm so worried about fuzzy if it's canker that sounds horrible it's highly contagious and viral and the medicine to treat it is dangerous if you're not careful it can kill them to treat them

So I'm freaking out I swabbed her mouth and it's not coming off so it can't be food and there's a tiny yellow spot on the roof of her mouth and could this be something else I have no idea the pics online look different

I'm trying to keep my cool and try natural remedies first but I get stressed I keep telling myself at least they aren't getting serious illnesses and if it's canker it was brought by other wild birds and you've done every thing to keep them away ......

Anyhow the crying was after the swabbing of the mouth and the weird spots appear to be a part of her skin inside the mouth....
