Arizona Chickens

It was very noisy when I got home, but now it's really quiet... should I be nervous?
I want Five to get up so I can see what's going on, but I don't want to move her...

You're either going to have to move her or wait until you see heads peeking out. You decide. Maybe wait til it's dark?

No don't be nervous they will quiet down then be noisy again.

Eta: it might not all be done yet either.

Any more pips?

Another one's (#4) is hatching now; tan egg, White NN with the bigger bowtie. Those last 2 are resting and need to dry off. I was just in there with the blue egg chick teaching it where the water and food is at. That way it can help to teach the other's too when I can add them to the brooder.

We lost our Colbie dog today to cancer. She was a Vizula/Doberman mix. She was 10 almost 11 years old. Was she loved, yes and she knew it too and probably took advantage of it!! We’ve known about the cancer probability for over a year, it just finally raised its ugly head and said now. She is peaceful at the Rainbow Bridge, talking smack with Sister, Sugar Pug and learning to know little Bug Pug. She was such a love around the chickens and baby chicks too. Couldn't have cared less! It will be odd for a while around here. Hard to imagine my bed without her in it or her barking when the doorbell rings. Hug your fur babies.

:hugs

I'm so sorry to hear this. I know how much it hurts. Those little furry faces sure know how to worm their way into our hearts.
