Arizona Chickens

Well I can tell buff orps and Eggers pretty well since I've had them a lot. And all of those 2 breeds pictured are pullets

I'm not familiar with australorps or blue orps the Crest is tricky bc growth rates are different the absolute sign of a boy is their saddle feathers at around 2 months or so when those come in all pointy at the ends it's a boy no doubt

@Geranium

While I don't see any cause for concern you really won't know until they start getting their saddle/hackle feathers or they crow. Until then it's all a best guess. I had an EE roo that everyone but me thought was a pullet until his saddle feathers came in. He still waited another month to crow. Not all birds develop at the same rate either, even in the same breed.

I went to Home Depot and bought a couple of rolls of sod and they are loving it. It probably won’t last long but at least I feel a little better it’s showing rain in my area tonight from 9pm to 4am. I have not seen this much rain in years....usually it skips right over us. My big birds hate it. I have 5 coops and two of them are nothing but mudd and hasn’t had a chance to dry before it rains again so there is no where for the water to go anymore! Ugh......

@Geranium none of those look like boys to me. @meetthebubus & @igorsMistress are right, it's just too early to really worry about it without more physical indicators, like feathering. Even if MyPetChicken messed up and got something wrong, I highly doubt it would be the majority of your flock. I have heard of feed stores getting it totally wrong (my neighbor ended up with 5 roos out of 7 chicks from Post's Feed a few years back, and they were "sexed" and she paid extra for them to be female!)- but you went through a reputable source. I'll see if I can find a pic of my Australorp when she was around that age to compare. Also, your chicks are looking great! So very cute!

And just for fun, check out Momo at 4-5 weeks! I was sure she was a roo, and I was so bummed. I had become attached and didn't want a rooster, but with this much development, I just couldn't fathom that this could possibly be a pullet. I was wrong, she's quite the lovely little gal and lays wonderful eggs for me! I know you don't have leghorns but I just wanted to share. They really do all mature and grow at their own pace. Just to keep you on your toes haha.
(Sorry about the low quality pic, my iPad takes terrible photos)

Thanks everyone for the accident concern. No injuries - just my vehicle was totaled and unfortunately I really liked that vehicle!! I did find one that was what I needed - has a ramp in back so my DH can ride his power chair right up the ramp and lock down. Still has second row seats, blue tooth, backup camera and the price was right. Now just waiting for them to put the lockdowns in the proper spots and get the check from the credit union. It is a speciality vehicle so looks like sometime between Wed to Fri to pick it up. Just have to get to North Phoenix Valley again! Crazy stuff we have to do.
@Geranium No expert here until the saddle feathers come in or the crowing starts but I'm thinking those look like pullets. Relax, watch them grow, be amazed - I always am.
@Sodell - I'm off Hanna Road and my yard is totally wet too PLUS I sprung a leak in my coop roof, its 10 years old, - couldn't do it today but tomorrow, fingers crossed, I'll tarp it! The rest I've put down straw for now, don't like straw but it does what @igorsMistress says it does. We'll get some more dirt in there later. This is the wettest October I think I've ever seen down here and we've been in AZ over 30 years. Even the Verde Valley wasn't this wet in October. Crazy weather.
