Arizona Chickens

Over 90 people have gotten sick, but thankfully there haven't been any deaths. It's a multi-drug resistant strain and has been found in raw chicken, eggs, ground chicken meat, pet food and live chickens. It is said to be widespread across the chicken industry, but there is not a common supplier so the source is unknown. It spans from January to September of this year. I'm still trying to see if AZ is involved. I would assume following proper safety and sanitation precautions would keep us safe with our own backyard flocks?
Edit- zero reported cases in AZ. Looks to be mostly the east coast.

Maybe it's only from the chicken industry like from Sanderson's Farms, Tyson, or places like that?

Do you have a link to where you are finding this at?

I miss kicking back with a cold hefeweizen in the run with the girls! Mine always peck at the condensation on the bottle lol. Have one for me :D My dad sent me a special wine from Jerome, made by the lead singer of the band Tool. I'm so excited to try it when I'm no longer pregnant.
One of the winery’s in Jerome used to sell a sweet sparking almond OMG it was so good. I went back to get more last spring and they don’t carry it anymore. I love it up there!!

Ahhhhh!:he
I'm letting mama ad baby out under my supervision and poor mama had to fight 3 others I watched to make sure it was not long and Marshmellow did his job and nicely broke it up right away, mama gave up and sat on my lap while baby explored (chulita)

So Picasso warned chulita that she was bigger so they are friends, poor baby thinks every hen will give her food from the beek and Marshmellow got a surprise when she flew in his face to take from him.

He tidbitted and she (baby chulita) ran to eat it and got a good peck on the neck by him. I was very mad at him and he got a little squirt of water , nothing big i just didnt want him attacking the baby i was afraid for her at the time

I thought about it later and figured he was teaching the baby manners.... but still she is little so she came up to my lap soon after that and i put them back to their place to have a peaceful dinner.

Then I fed everyone raisins to get over any traumas and marsh and I forgave each other as he ate out of my hand lol

I LOVE China :love she is the best watch-chicken she has a special cry that tells me if something is wrong with the bubus. Today she cried when I was feeding the dog so I hurry back and Picasso was in a precarious place and needed my help so China is awesome!
