@SonoranChick @Geranium - I love sloggers BUT my instep is too high for either the short ones or the boots. I even tried two sizes larger and it was a no go. You can get them at some of the tractor supply stores. Remember I have a brand new pair of the short ones in a size 8 if you are interested. I have a pair that my DH modified for me with a slit and ties making a tie up shoe. Works great when the yard is wet - generally though I wear my crocs.
@MichelleGuynn Those are cute pics! I didn't realize silkie chicks were so cute!

That's a bummer. I have a pretty high arch but they work for me. I wear a 9, though.

I perform a morning feed, and a late afternoon/early evening feed, allowing the birds to decide if they want a full crop before roosting for the night or not. Some of my birds look ready to explode with massively full crops. Others are just the opposite. I trust that they know what they need.

You are so sweet to offer your sloggers! Unfortunately I'm afraid they wouldn't fit, as I am a size 6. But with how much my feet are swelling up my normal shoes have been pretty tight :gig can you guys tell I'm ready to not be pregnant anymore lol

Haha! I got the short style from TSC and I had to cut a slit in the top of them too. It's like they're designed for flat feet.
