@meetthebubus That's why one of my eye candy girls that has a silly crest and comb was named Punky! Made me think of Punky Brewster when I first saw her. Then her comb came in and put the icing on the cake so to speak.

Hi everybody

My computer broke so I'm off early. The unoverse will make me pay I'm sure but I'm happy to be done with my day early.

We are having pot pie for dinner, just a reheat from yesterday so that's easy.

What is everyone up to today?

I haven't done much of anything today, except spend some time with the chickens and the dog. I sat on my upside down bucket to visit with the chickens and to observe them more closely. I also chatted with them & hand fed them some of the weed's that they like. Then this evening I took the dog out into his part of the yard to let him get his duties done and sat out there on the steps with him for awhile. I'm liking this cooler weather for sure! The next few day's will be getting the food and drinks for the weekend power boat races bought and readied. We make our own sirloin burger's for it, and it look's like most of our friend's will be showing up on Saturday to sit with us for it.

My day was full of y intercepts and horrible I 10 drivers

The races sound so fun, I'm sorry we will miss them. I hope you guys have a great time! I remembered they're coming up and wondered if you've been getting ready.

How's the dogs leg? Is he getting better?

That's why I was so frustrated the other day with those ants killing those chicks. I wanted to get those under control and the run rearranged a bit before I knew that I would have to be getting ready for those boat races. Maybe you will be able to come to them next year. They are usually here racing the first weekend in Nov.

Buster's ligament isn't healed up. Sometimes he will walk on all 4's, but other times he will lift his bad leg and go around on 3. He love's taking his night time allergy med though, because it come's mixed in with his scrambled pullet egg of the day!

Edit: Forgot to add that my buddy Buster like's to eat salad with me so I save him a little bit of mine to let him have and he get's to lick out the bowl. It must be the tomatoes and ranch dressing, huh? He ate 1/2 of a raw carrot today.

Yes I work @ home. I live 20 miles west of Phoenix and the office is in Chandler now. Way too long a commute, it was already bad when I had to just go downtown.

That's too bad about Busters ligament. Maybe he needs more time to heal? We use Bil-Jac peanut butter treats or hardboiled eggs for meds with our dogs. The pb treats they love so those work best for us.
