Guys...my brown leghorn Momo is growing spurs! What the heck?! And she's most definitely a hen, lays eggs and all. I had no idea this was a thing?

I have no idea that a hen would do that. I don't have any hen's growing spurs.
It happens. Pics show up on the fb groups every once in a while of hens with spurs. I guess it's more common with certain breeds...

Do the hen's try to spur the owner's too like some rooster's do?
Yep, it happens. My older girls start to grow spurs - my 7/8 year old black Aussie has spurs. Crazy looking.
I wonder if their hormone's are changing when that happen's?
Not that I've heard. I think it's along the same lines as some women growing chin hairs.... it just happens sometimes.
I have heard it's more common with older hens...
I guess that's why I haven't seen it with mine then. I seem to sell mine before they get old and stop laying.
