UPDATE! Just got home she is doing better than when I left. I was able to wash her off in warm water before I left. I just gave her some yogurt and apple cidar vinegar in her water. I kinda had to force her to eat the yogurt but she drink the water. So I guess just need to keep soaking her butt and giving her yogurt?

I'm glad that she's doing better. Yes, I would keep doing what you are doing for her, until she is no longer showing sign's of that vent gleet, and then just keep an eye on her in the future.

Edit: By the way, how's Miss Foofy doing?

Miss Foofy is doing great as long as the kids don’t try to hold her. Every time they do she stops laying:barnie Takes her a few days and she will lay again. I am at 6-10 days. One day it’s 6. One day it’s 10 lol! My copper Marans and the two white girls should start laying soon. One is already squating!! So weird with my black sex link. They have been amazing girls. And all the sudden my son went to let the girls in the backyard with the doggie and noticed her acting strange. So he went ahead and checked her vent and pulled out this weird soft twisted shell. Then I kinda made her drink. Her thingy on top of her head was purplish instead of red! Got some water down her and it came back to red. I let her get back in the nesting box and the other girls went to the yard I soaked her butt in some warm water which at first did not like it but then was like ohhhh. I got some of that watery white stuff off her. She then kinda just wanted back in the box. I prepared my son for the worst and we left. He ran out to check on her as soon as we got home. She had her eyes closed but when I got her down she did walk around normal and got back on the roosting bar. I got her so of the Apple cider vinegar and one of the kids go gurts. So we shall see how she is tomorrow. Unfortunately I will be working so not able to check on her

I just added some of the Apple Cider Vinegar with water to make a wet feed for mine today. They seem to cobble it all up when I do wet feed, and nothing is left over.

Just candled my batch to hatch, I have 3 I am sure of, 2 that are a maybe and one that I am reasonably sure is a yolker.. at least that is what I think it's called when they are not fertile. It's so much fun seeing the air sac and the little black dot moving around in there. It's early yet in the process, so I won't make a call on the other three, will wait till at least day 14.

Most of us just say that the egg is a clear when it doesn't look fertile.
