I thought that she was to young to lay..lol, apparently not, I have one hen that I've named Bucket, she insists on laying in the bucket, I gave up on fighting with her, so put some clean shavings in the bucket and let her have it..lol, with this one now laying in it, we might have a hen fight on our hands if they both decide to use it at the same time. lol.

I've got a girlfriend who's nest boxes look like half a bucket, how do they make their's? I came in the coop one day and found my one hen sitting in the bucket on top of a mixer of pine shavings and chicken poo from where I'd been cleaning..lol, she's got clean shavings in there now.

I had to stick one of the Barnevelder girl's in broody jail this morning. I had my suspicion's that she was going broody last night when I went to lock up the coop. I hope that I caught her in time to break her of it fast.

I did see the moon, we took the dogs for a walk and it was a lovely evening for it.

How are you doing with the stay at home order? My grandkids are going a little stir crazy so we're doing chores today and I promised a nice long bike ride tomorrow as a reward.
