Well, they 've been evicted, still got to go out, clean the bottom and put down puddy pads or toss in some straw.. the black one is Lucky

:th Does anyone know if a hen doesn't hatch, can she go broody again just a few weeks later? like maybe 4 weeks later? I was just out in the coop doing final egg check, checking on the chicks and my "two" broodies, I found Midnight in the nest boxes looking for all the world like she was sitting again.. I'll go out tonight and see if she's there again. If she's not, then I'll take the eggs, she wouldn't have been on them for more than a couple of hours. if that. She jumped down when I was still in the coop, I know that she'd not just laid that egg as it was cool.

Yes, she can and sometimes sooner than that.

Went and checked to see if Midnight were back in the nest box, she was on the roosts, so I went ahead and took the eggs I'd given her. Rose and Pearl are both on their nests, I candled Roses eggs, all three look viable. one is so dark that I can't see in.. I can see movement on the others. Pearl is to early yet, I went to check on Jill, she's back on the roost again, so I don't know what's up with her, I'll leave her eggs for now, if she's on the roost again tomorrow, I'll take her eggs.

For anyone here that has silkies are a chicks wings suppose to look like this? He's roughly 3 weeks old. I didn't think they got feathers, or does the sides of the feathers just get longer?

That's normal for those. As they get a bit bigger, keep an eye out for the streamer's on the back part of the foof on the head. The streamer's will mean that it's a boy.
