Arizona Chickens

Buenos Dias Arizona Peeps. My chicks (Australorp) are at 6 weeks and getting too big for our brooder setup. I'd like to move them to the coop but these recent temps have me worried they won't be able to take it. Not just the hot temps but also the 30 degree swings from day to night. Am I over thinking this? I've already got some 2 liters ready in the freezer. Any guidance would be super awesome. TY!

You should be fine... my 2 week old chicks are outside with my 4 week old chicks right now... suggest making sure you have a brood light on for them at night though (even if it means running an extension cord out a window)

They'll be fine outside. Deep shade and puddles will help.

Even my bantams are starting to show combs now 😅 still limited feathers on them... think it’s still to early to sex any of them based off combs (everyone is only 3-5 weeks old) but... hope everyone is having a good day...

Took them out some blueberries and tomatoes... the chases that ensued were so funny to watch (the noise at the end is my demon/son)
My birds seem to favor watermelon and tomato more than anything else, I’m assuming it’s because of the bright red. Your flock is getting bigger by the day! Reminds me of when ours were little chicks :)
