I love her so much!!!!!!!! Ughhhhh, i really want one!!!

What do you think the max is I can keep indoors?? 🤣 shoot!!! Ok ill have to get those once the kids fly the nest and the chickies go to chicken heaven.

There is no max,,,, since you are the BOSS in the house. :thumbsup :highfive:
Many peeps keep Seramas as indoor pets.
I just dug this pix up of my other 2. Got them last year during summer, from same BYC member as Lonely. View attachment 2362012
Actually, there's a guy 10 mins away that will be breeding some in January.. im on the wait list.. so i can decide then 😍 they are silkie seramas too!!

I have an oversized hallway, big waste of space.. so I've decided to move the current coop in there.. just finished assembling the extension w the new nesting area. I will move the bigger coop/run there tomorrow and add washed sand as the new litter. Also getting them a full spectrum avian light. Did you see my little cochin chicks?? I am *pretty* sure i have all girls, but i can only keep 2 😔

Hi there. Been a while I need some help!!! I have been losing a lot of chickens this summer not sure if from this nasty over long summer or something else. So it all started with a blue laced red Wyandotte that was about 10 wks old. She started losing balance and almost looked drunk. Did some research and bumped up the vitamins in the water hoping that was the issue. Well that chicken “floppy” is doing ok still has balance issues but eats drinks and otherwise has a happy life. A few weeks ago same thing happened to my black copper maran hen about 18-22 weeks. She didn’t make it. Then a barred rock, which about 22-24 weeks. She didn’t make it. Now I have this green queen that has been completely healthy and fine until yesterday. She is losing her balance walking backwards at times, falls over and mostly just lays down. I will try to attach a video of her this am so you can see. They have misters that get turned on if the afternoon plenty of fresh water they get a blend of foods. A high protein turkey, laying feed and a scratch mix without corn.

Wont let me upload video. Her crop was not full. I gave her some plain yogurt with added poly-sol vit and scrambled egg. She ate about half. Added nutri drench to her water
Everyone here will be more knowledgeable, but have you treated them w corid? Seems like the floppiness might be related to cociddiosis. I think it might help them get through it even if its in progress.
