Thompson Grapes are supposed to do pretty well if I remember correctly according to the Garden Guy (remember him on tv?). I have his book (Extreme Gardening in the desert or something like that) but not with me here now.You can have any grapes, these were not labeled but thinking Thompson. However having seeds gives them more nutrients. I trim them back every year to control the canes. View attachment 2407364

Thanks for the great tip! I've heard the processors in a lot of areas are booked although I've not taken anything in for processing myself.Hello everyone, I'm sure I've posted here in the past, but I moved up to Golden Valley (north west of Kingman) recently and I wanted to see if any of you BYC-ers live in my area!
I'll be getting quail soon, and have a flock of layers (Barred, Dominique, Cochin, Black Sex Link, and an EE cross roo). Maybe in the future I'll have broiler chickens, though I dont eat meat it would be nice to have an income using the sneaky little loophole in our system-- sell the bird prior to slaughter, deliver to the slaughterhouse for the customer, give the name for pick up, done! Learned that from a local farmer so we'll see how that goes in the future!
