Arizona Chickens

I’ve given them some wet feed with nutritional yeast and waiting and watching. I’ll do that every week or so to give her a little boost of b vitamins. It’s like she’s uncoordinated from the rapid growth more than anything. Thanks for asking! How about your crew? And how is your hubs doing? Is his recovery going well?

I hope that your duck's leg get's better. My flock is doing good. They got the feed today, but no treats because they got some hamburger bun's yesterday. Hub's back has healed up pretty good from the operation.

By the way, congrats on your BYC Spirit badge! I got mine today also!

I was just going to look at the names and see if that was the case, I thought so! Congratulations to you as well!
Happy to know your hubs is healing well too. Igor is in much less pain after his from a few years ago so I hope your DH has good long term results.

Thanks, ill try this. Ill put it inside the bait station, it is kid and pet proof, has a bowl container that can go inside for liquid or powders. Hopefully it gets here soon.. i hate even walking outside, i see rat poops everywhere! No nesting areas or seeds or food sources in my yard, so its coming from one or both messy neighbors.
It is not pet safe. Meaning you do not want any pet to be able to get to the powder.

I can concur. Our neighbors across the street were complaining about roof rats because the folks that live behind them don’t pick up the fruit that falls on the ground. One of them of course found our shed and chicken coop. The stink coming from the shed after it died was pretty terrible but when I cleaned it out all there was was a pile of stiff fur. They do leave evidence of their death throws though if the stuff makes them bleed to death...it splatters about.
You smell them 1st, but only for a day or so.

That's where those plastic grocery bag's would come in handy to scoop those bodies up in. It seems that the recycling places don't want to take those anymore.
Those are our chicken and dog poop bags! :)

Well.. for whatever reason, the bait stations I ordered are on their way back. Looks like *maybe* they got damaged in transit, but I never saw them. I will have to get the smaller ones from Lowes, which don't look all that great to me, but something is better than nothing. I want to enjoy the weather and want those critters gone! I don't think either neighbor picks up dog poop daily, or maybe ever, so that is another food source. Hopefully the rat nests are somewhere on their property so they can enjoy the decay 😂
