The internet is cutting in and out. There are a few pieces of shell stuck to its butt, but I'm not going to pull out feathers to take them off.

OK, the one with the cracked and waxed shell has dry membrane showing from the little hole, and there is no movement or pipping. I suspect it's probably dead. Should I try to unzip that one, too? This one wasn't too hard, the shell and membrane were detached.
Update: The one with the cracked and waxed shell was also shrink wrapped, and dead. It was a dark chick with a yellow spot. RIP, little chick.
The last egg in the incubator was the one that looked doubtful but possible prior to lockdown.
I think you've successfully corrupted her! she's got about 3 different stages/ages of pullets?Sorry that the chick didn't make it, but you do have those other three to spoil now.
Dark clouds here, too. Rain would help cool things off.It look's like some more rain may be headed towards me again.
yes, there's smoke (not irritating anyone's eyes though), and the firefighters have really been holding the fire at bay. I think it's about 8 miles due south from my place. It's been going north and west so even if it jumps the crown king/cleator road (a fire break) it should miss almost all of spring valley. but it'd have to be several more times active than it's been, to do that in a single day.We need an update on the Tiger Fire! Springvalley123, are you safe?
