I have so many duck feathers around here it looks like it snowed! Ducks really do not like this heat, and are molting like mad! No duck eggs for 2 days, either.

Yeah I haven’t got any eggs from my Silkie for about 2 weeks now and my lf barely lays .

The two yellow and black chicks are getting white wing tips. Lacey has some white patches on her wings, so maybe they're her chicks???? Big Ben has some white tail feathers. He started out with a few, and now his tail has a lot of white. I can see cuckoo coloring coming in on Gabby's wings, but they're all mostly fuzz (adorable!) so there's no telling.

I like to catch the rain water in barrels, and use it for the potted plants and bird water.

If it rain's hard enough, maybe you could use a few of those to catch water to dump into your well?

The well is going great when it rains like this!

Well water has lots of minerals, and is good for the hens. But rain water is so nice for the plants, and keeps the scale out of the water nipples, both are good! No water like last year, not good.
