Arizona Chickens

But really, send me a picture of your harps!!

What kind do you have? I've only had one wire strung Limerick, and I currently have a wire-strung Lynda Lyre that I mostly play at the end of Christmas programs, just to be reminiscent of the angels pictured everyone with small harps...

Here are mine....I give events where I bring them all, tell about the history, play bits down through history, and then let the people try them out...

All you Arizona Chicken People, please forgive our excited babbling about harps on a chicken forum! Harpists are as fanatic as chicken raisers!!! (When you do both, you're just beyond help....)

That's allot of harps! There are so many of the older thing's that are being overlooked or forgotten about now.

Oh, my chickens don't poop. HA! I have to clean and hose the patio and furniture every day to get ready for a fresh day of pooping. The picture was taken early in the day before they got started.
I want chickens that only poop eggs! HA HA! The pic looks great, I am jealous! I like to sit out in the yard with my chickens in my folding chair. They like it, too, because they get treats then.

No you don't. Can you imagine all of your flock walking around constipated? That couldn't be good for them. What goes in must come back out in some form or other.

LOL, I don't have any pictures of them on this phone or computer, but I have a Rees Fullsicle, a Triplett Celtic II, and an Argent Fox Brother Maynard (the wire strung one). I looks like you have little Rees one in that picture, too.

The rain is coming down so heavy that I can't see across the yard. It's been years since I've seen it pour this hard. The lights are flickering and I'm going to get off the computer for now.

Wow, an Argent Fox Brother Maynard is very rare nowadays! And the Triplett is very pretty--I got to try one out somewhere. The ones I play the most are my Marini harps and my Blevins harps. And yes, who can be without a harpsicle? I've bought and sold 8 of them, keeping this last fullsicle. I think I've bought 26 and sold 17 harps through the years, so the ones I now have are my forever favorites. Anyway, what fun to discover another harpist in the BYC! Happy Harping, especially to serenade your chickens!
