no thanks. as fun as they can be, the extra 5-10 minutes taking care of them would put me over the edge....That's good that you found someplace for him. The lady that came here to take Trump only took him and the green egg laying girl. They didn't want to take too may and have to introduce a bunch at the same time. She's supposed to call me later to let me know how Trump is doing, because his comb got injured while we were catching him and was bleeding.
Want some duck's? You can hatch from these and tell the sex of them when they hatch. There are 2 boy's and a girl, and they are Welsh Harlequin's.
I guess that I can just eat them then since no one is wanting any duck's. Believe me, I won't be trying to hatch any more of those.no thanks. as fun as they can be, the extra 5-10 minutes taking care of them would put me over the edge....
Maybe I can eat the 2 boy's and keep the girl around for egg's. She can think that she's a chicken. It will be a few more month's until the Bielefelder cockerel's are old enough to think about trying to breed her.Just keep them as a grocery backup supply. With the uncertain times now,,and groceries climbing in price almost continuously,, use as needed without needing refrigeration.

I think the concern is with danger of drakes harming chickens,,, and not so much with roosters harming ducksIt will be a few more month's until the Bielefelder cockerel's are old enough to think about trying to breed her.
I wouldn't know, because I've never had any duck's before.I think the concern is with danger of drakes harming chickens,,, and not so much with roosters harming ducks![]()
