I don't know what your coop looks like, but ours is very simple. It wasn't a big deal to just pull the wire over the top and staple it down.

Kera--I buy quinoa for my family at Costco. Just curious...why do you need that for your chickens intead of chicken feed? I have heard of giving them oats as a supplement, but I have no idea what is best. I know you can go in with a group and place bulk grain orders from Azure Standard in Oregon. I have been wanting to do that, but haven't gotten around to it.

"U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords of Arizona was shot outside a grocery store in Tucson while holding a public event, an eyewitness reported Saturday.

Giffords, who was re-elected to her third term in November, was hosting her first "Congress on Your Corner” event at the Safeway in northwest Tucson when a gunman ran up and started shooting. At least five other people, including members of her staff, were hurt, according to Peter Michaels, news director of Arizona Public Media.

Giffords was transported to University Medical Center in Tucson. Her condition was not immediately known.

Michaels said Giffords was talking to a couple when the man ran up, firing indiscriminately, and then ran off. He was tackled by a bystander and presumably taken into custody."

Woah, I just got off the phone with my sister. She used to work with the shooter. She says that he was really shy and weird looking. But, he was really nice. I guess they hung out a few times. She said that he was weird and she could see him doing something like this, but you would never think he'd actually do it.

I am sorry to hear that all those people were killed and/or injured. It is so sad to think that someone feels this is a solution to problems. He must of been a real messed up person. I am glad they caught him before he could do any more damage.
Cong. Gifford had just made a interview on Fox yesterday... they showed the interview.. she stated that she felt the economy and other things were a security threat to this country... boy was she right!! I hope she makes it. I wished none had to lose their lives because of this stupid man. You are strong people in Arizona...
